About of Lindsay Bell
Lindsay’s roots in LD1 run deep, and so does her commitment to the communities
of Northern Arizona. She came to Arizona in 1968 to attend college, married an
Arizona guy, and has made Arizona her home ever since. Lindsay and her family
have lived in Prescott for 37 years.
As a wife, mother, and grandmother, she is passionate about building a bright
future for Arizona’s children and grandchildren.
Over four decades of professional work, civic leadership, and service to the
community, Lindsay has always been involved, dedicating herself to bringing
people together to make positive gains and help move her community forward.
A college graduate with a Master’s in Public Administration, Lindsay has the
skills and experience to get the job done for Northern Arizona.

Lindsay’s Bio and Experience
At Arizona State University, Lindsay earned a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology
and a Master’s in public administration.
Lindsay Bell was elected to the Prescott City Council in 1995 and served as a
Council Member from 1995 to 1999. She also ran for Mayor in 2005. She has
served on several City of Prescott planning committees:
After working 30 plus years in the nonprofit sector, Lindsay retired from full-time
employment in 2008. Currently, Lindsay volunteers with a nonprofit transportation
company, Territorial Transit, Inc., that is working with other agencies in the
central Yavapai area to establish a regional public transit system.
Other community involvement includes:
Lindsay is married to Max Bell, a retired social worker. She and Max have two
grown daughters. Favorite pastimes are reading, hiking, bird watching and
spending time with her grandsons, Jonathan and Elliott.
